Before this we have have posted a drawing of what the Cloverfield monster looks like, complete with “Monster Louse”, little crab-like parasites that lives on the alien monster’s body. (picture below)
Cloverfield fans have started creating art based on the descriptions of the Cloverfield Monster. Check image below and more after the jump.
Here is a look at a fan recreation of one of the parasites:
The whale-mouthed one was of course a hopeful one, not based seeing the movie. The others are closer, but the hardshell rendition just isn’t close enough. Some of them are a little too apelike, but the artists are getting closer. The forelegs/arms need to accentuate the reversed elbow, be long, and spider-like.
I’m not a graphic artist, but saw it early with five friends to compare notes with, so check out the versions at http://www.kidreviewer.com/2008/01/cloverfield-2008.html. I don’t think anyone’s nailed it yet, but will get closer in the next few days as more weigh in.

J.J. Abrams machte bisher durch seinen Serien Alias und Lost auf sich aufmerksam. Als Film Regisseur hatte er sich bei Mission Impossible 3 bewiesen….
by the way, has anyone else let others know that this fake piece of shit is not the real cloverfield monster? i mean jesus christ, i knew people who didn’t care to see the damn movie just because they saw these dumbass pics and thought the monster looked retarded. which by the way, this fake ass version does!
I just saw the movie and it sucks big time!!!! they dont explain anything and it ends like a pure piece of shit!!!! I hate this movie and thank god I downloaded it first before going to the theatre… The monster is really a piece of shit too its pathetic how a don’t show the monster or the plot campaign can make people crave to see a movie for so many months. Yes, it is Sin, from the game Final Fantasy X, and the parasites are just like the sinspawn that fall from Sin.

saw the movie last night and it was amazing!! everyone I know who’s seen it says the same too, you don’t always need to have things explained in movies, it gives you more to think about, hope they don’t do a sequel or it will spoil it
The first pic from the side looks like Sin from FF X… however, the real monster is… a Lion…
It’s Sin from FFX Wow how original, so that’s what they payed Sony to get licensing from!!
These images are NOTHING like the actual monster. although you dont get a good veiw of the critter untill near the end of the movie, it looks a shitload better then any of these could hope to be. it looks like nothing else out there to date (and no, the actual thing looks NOTHING like Sin)
and if you didnt like the movie, you have no taste. go watch a pokemon movie or something.
those who think nothing was reveailed about the monster obviously didnt watch the movie too closely (you can see the critter landing in the end sequence, you see its pathway and what its doing to the city in the diffrent news reports ((those parasites are annoying the hell out of it, but those buildings make GREAT scratching posts!)) and you even get hints at how they may have taken it out ((although with rumors of a sequel on the rise, it likely wasnt killed 
)))
