Up first was the news from early last month that “Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins” was going to be PG-13, the first PG-13 rated installment in the franchise. The producers promise that the lowered rating won’t affect the film’s violence, but come on, who are they kidding? Read.

Then later last month, the studio finally released the full, official plot synopsis for “T4″, including news that the movie is currently shooting in New Mexico. What we learned: the movie will be set in the near future, after the war with Skynet; Marcus, a new character, will be introduced; and Kate Connor, a character originally played by Claire Danes in “Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines”, will return as John Connor’s wife, and played by Charlotte Gainsbourg. Dragonball The Movie fansite has landed more scans from Weekly Young Jump magazinethat shows more characters from the movie, including Chow Yun Fat as Master Roshi, Emmy Rossum as Bulma, and Yoon Park as Yamcha. And yes, another good look at Justin Chatwin as Goku.

A photo of the Transporter 3 spotted at Cannes billboard. This time around, franchise star Jason Statham is joined by Prison Break scumbag Robert Knepper. The film is presently in production and will come in 200.

TRON 3D: It was reported last year that Commercial director Joseph Kosinski was in talks to direct “the next chapter” of TRON. Word is that Disney is shooting to release the film in Digital Disney 3D in Sprint 2011.

Cars 2: According to this report, Disney is shooting for a 2011 release. It hard to believe that Disney/Pixar really wants another Cars film, considering it took in less at the box office than Pixar’s previous efforts. Brad Bird also spoke of how sequels was not in Pixar’s business plan, while speaking at WonderCon 2007:

The Ruins follows two American couples, just out of college, enjoying a pleasant, lazy beach holiday together in Mexico , who become entangled in a brutal struggle for survival after visiting remote Mayan ruins, site of a fabled archeological dig. Directed by Carter Smith, the film adaptation stars Jonathan Tucker (The Black Donnellys), Jena Malone (Saved), Shawn Ashmore (X-Men: The Last Stand), Laura Ramsey (She’s the Man) and Joe Anderson (Across the Universe).

The Ruins hits theaters on April 4th 2008.
