Synopsis

A young girl LILY, lack of family warmth, drinks inside a dancing club. She becomes the target of pimp. ALEX dances on the stage to attract her attention, she was totally fascinated. ALEX starts to drive LILY to college everyday. Once he bumps into a mother frok China, FANG, looking for her daugther, HAN, who had been cheated by the pimp. FANG depends on ALEX to help her on the finding-daugther-mision, however finds out that ALEX himself is a pimp.

Storm Rider - Clash of the Evils trailer now online. Storm Rider - Clash of the Evils is an animated film based on the popular on-going wuxia comic by Ma Wing Shing (Hong Kong). Directed by Dante Lam of Twins Effect fame and the production is is done by Puzzle Animation Studios which employs 2D and 3D technique for the animation.

This is a sequel to the story featuring two legendary and adventurous characters, Feng & Yun, played on screen by Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng in the movie “The Storm Riders”. The Sword Worship Villa, the world’s top sword maker, witnessed the bloody execution of its people due to allegations of conspiring to start a rebellion. The young master of the villa, Ao Jue, is the only survivor of the execution. In order to complete the “Jue” Sword, forged by generations of his family, Ao Jue swears to attack Tian Xia Hui and battles with Feng & Yun, in order to obtain the blood of the Fire Kirin which can unleash the power of the sword.

A new trailer online for the upcoming Anima Ex Machina, the follow up to the CGI animated adaptation of Shirow Masamune’s acclaimed manga.

The anime movie will be a combination of computer generated imagery and anime like the first one with Shinji Aramaki directing again. The CG anime sequel will apparently be released sometime this year and John Woo is currently fully involved in the production. Along with the upcoming sequel, there is also plans for a brand new 26 episode Appleseed anime tv series that will begin airing in Japan in late 2007.

Appleseed was originally a manga published back in 1985 created by Shirow Masamune (Ghost In The Shell). The manga became pretty popular and the success of Appleseed continued to bloom in 1988 with an anime movie that was directed by Kazuyoshi Katayama. Due to the continued popularity of the Appleseed manga, in 2004 popular anime director Shinji Aramaki (Bubble Gum Crisis) decided to come out and make a remake of the older Appleseed OAV in his own unique style with a new storyline that featured the return of several of the continue
